POSITION SUMMARY (Broad overview of responsibility)
Ø Responsible for developing project L2/ L3 schedules on Primavera and MIS for Coal based Thermal Power Plant.
Ø Responsible for preparation of periodic progress reports for customer/ internal management.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES (List of specific responsibilities)
1. Responsible for preparation of project schedules, cash flows etc. Develop sensitivity analysis / models for improvement in critical/ sub critical paths.
2. Interact with team for assimilating scope of work, key technical requirements and other aspects impacting project schedule and costs. Participate in meetings between Customers and in-house Plant engineering division for capturing issues impacting project schedule and costs.
3. Responsible for collecting periodic progress reports from plant engineering, site, vendors for Plant BOP systems etc. Analysis of the same and highlight delays and recovery plans.
4. Responsible for preparation of periodic progress reports for customer/ internal management. Present periodic report to customer/ internal management and prepare catch up plans if needed. Follow up the action taken issues and raise alarm as and when required.
5. Involvement in risk assessment exercises and assigning costs for facilitating decisions.
6. Identify and process changes that impact contract margin.
7. Involvement in preparation of annual / mid term review budget.
· Engineering graduate with at least Fifteen (15) years experience in project planning & control of large sized coal based thermal power projects of 250/300/500 MW capacity.
· A team player willing to share knowledge within group & of a positive disposition.
· Networking, Leadership, Innovation, Presentation, Communication Ability, cost optimization techniques
· Conversant with Primavera and other PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, database, power point etc.
